Our role as a company is to represent manufacturers in the Ontario marketplace, executing various responsibilities that include sales, technical support, customer service, product introduction, training, warehousing, and promotion. We work closely with electrical and mechanical distributors, contractors, engineering firms, and end customers to deliver electrical product solutions that power our communities.
We are actively involved in industry associations
Intralec is actively involved in industry associations such as NEMRA, CEMRA, SERA, OEL, and Electro-Federation Canada. We are active in regional and national marketing, HR, and networking committees that contribute to the health of Canada’s electrical industry.
Intralec was founded in September 1977 by two former ITE employees, Bruce Chamney and Dave Doherty. Our first line represented CEFCO fuses, a principle we still represent as Mersen. Over 40 years later, we have grown to a full line card of quality suppliers and 30+ employees. Today, Intralec is third-generation owned by Cindy Doherty, President, Greg Moylett, VP of Distribution Sales, and John Hadley, VP of Project Sales.
